Friendship House, VNANNJ's adult day care center, welcomes volunteers who can provide two or more hours a week to assist with activities and snacks. No formal training is required. The center is located in Boonton and its hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. weekdays.
Program volunteers are asked to shop weekly or biweekly for homebound elderly clients. By performing this simple but essential task, you can assist an elderly neighbor for whom shopping has become a difficult chore.
